Where messaging meets market fit, and momentum begins.
Meet Jennifer
After years of conducting user testing research for major corporations and research firms, and running my own messaging and branding business since 2014, I’ve learned this: brilliant ideas don’t sell themselves, connection does.
I’m Jennifer Kahtz, founder of Emotive Pull. I help PhDs, founders, and mission-driven experts translate deep expertise into messaging that moves people—and markets. My work lives at the intersection of psychology, strategy, and storytelling, grounded in qualitative research and a deep understanding of human motivation.
Over the years, I’ve spoken, written, and consulted for leaders who were tired of surface-level marketing and ready to find their edge, the message that truly resonates, builds trust, and drives results. I specialize in helping clients achieve product or service market fit by aligning their value with what their audience actually cares about.
Because when your message finally lands, everything starts to grow, from your leads and revenue to your confidence and impact.
The Emotive Pull Story
I’ll never forget that night in 2014. It was 3 a.m. I was staring at the ceiling, wide awake, wrestling with a question that challenged everything I thought I knew about marketing. My client had launched a brilliant app that helped parents discover local children’s activities. The idea was solid. Parents lit up when we talked about it. But the results? Flatline. Website visits dropped off. No sign-ups. No traction.
The disconnect was realand I took it personally.
Those sleepless nights became a turning point. One morning, pacing my office before sunrise, a thought hit me: What if the problem isn’t the product—but the message? What if we’re missing the emotional why behind the parent’s decision?
The Discovery
That day, I proposed a new strategy: integrate qualitative research and dig deep into the real drivers behind the decision to buy, fears, hopes, values, beliefs.
My client said, “I don’t care what you do. I just want outcomes.”
That one sentence gave me full permission. We conducted real-world interviews, tested message angles, and repositioned the offer based on what parents actually felt, not just what we thought they needed.
Thirty days after relaunch? The strategy worked so well, I’d worked myself out of a retainer.
Six months later, I got the call:
“Jen, we’ve converted 400 parent sign-ups from your messaging. Can you do this for our other products?”
That moment shifted everything. I realized this wasn’t about one campaign. It was about a core truth: People don’t buy features. They buy resonance. They buy relief. They buy transformation.
I built Emotive Pull to help others tap into this same kind of clarity.
Who We Are Today
Today, I bring 10+ years of experience, leading research for enterprise firms, guiding experts and PhDs to product-market fit, and turning disconnected offers into compelling messages that consistently convert.
Because in a saturated market, brands don’t need louder messaging.
They need truer messaging.
Messaging that listens before it speaks.
Messaging that meets people where they are.
Messaging that moves.
So if you’ve ever felt like you’re doing everything “right” but your message still isn’t landing…
You’re not alone. Let’s fix the disconnect, together.
