How to Write Strategic Emotional Emails to Drive Action

We’ve made it quick and convenient for you to learn how to position your emails to sell. In this blog post, we’ll share templates that'll help you get a different outcome for your marketing efforts.

Learn how to write emails that will get you results! This is an emotive analysis you won't want to miss.

If you struggle with how to position your campaigns to sell, you're going to love this campaign analysis segment from various emails that are written to drive action.

In the email below, I've written the psychological strategy in bold. If you really understand this strategy, you can write effective emails for any industry. Even though this is for Evernote, it's a model many marketers use.

Go through and begin to see the patterns; for homework, try to write an email for your business using this same model. This will help you write in a way that will emotionally pull and connect with your audience by meeting them where they're at. Go inside their mind, right to the struggles they're already thinking about.

After you complete your homework, send it to me and I'll give you a complimentary audit.

Emotional pull is human connection - meeting your audience eye to eye in your communications - so that you build trust and credibility. They will truly appreciate your marketing efforts because you're relating to them. This is going to help you so much in creating content.

Much love,

Jen

Hi Jennifer,

If you’re an entrepreneur or a professional, you know it can be hard work. (Do you notice how she's relating to how I might be feeling as an entrepreneur? She connects in the first sentence.)

And you should be able to do the important work of creating your vision and building your business without getting bogged down in the details. (She's going into the struggles of the entrepreneur, creating pain. This is called rational drowning and is an emotional technique that focuses on creating the pain that drives behavior change.)

If you've ever spent more than 2 minutes looking for a file or a business card...

Or wanted to check on something and realized that it was on your laptop, not your phone...

Or even if you just feel like being better organized would help you be more productive in your business...

Why not do things the easy way? (Solutions come after the pain. There are many ways to do this. Here she leads with the problem, and then gives solution.)

See, you've probably heard of-- and may even use –Evernote.

I thought I used Evernote...

Until I saw what Charles Byrd was doing with it. (This is a "If she does it, you can do it," credibility technique. You could do this if you have a well known client and permission.)

He knows Evernote inside and out...

And he knows that, if you set it up right, it enables you in a flash to put your hand on the critical information you need...(If he can do it, you can do it.)

So that you can manage, from anywhere, any detail you need for your life and business, 24/7. (Add a primary benefit)

As a 15-year veteran of Silicon Valley, and a seasoned project management professional --

Charles has worked with thousands of people (including entrepreneurs like Jay Fiset, Cathy Demers, and Billy Broas) to save time, simplify their systems, and increase their productivity... (More benefits that speak to an emotional need.)

With Evernote. And Charles is going to be putting on a special live training event called:

“Kill the Chaos with Evernote! An Introduction to Hands-on Information Mastery for Entrepreneurs.” And he’s going to do it at no charge. (A nice free offer with great psychological reward based on the desire built from the pain he lead with.)

If your current set-up and productivity just aren’t good enough and you want to learn or relearn Evernote to take advantage of its astonishing power... (Benefits of the free webinar.)

If you want a close look at the tool itself – what it is and how it works, as well as real life “use cases” that show why it really matters-- all you have to do is register and show up: Tuesday, 3/13 at 11am PST / 2pm Eastern – sharp!

Register now for free by clicking below: (Nice harmless call to action, to be of service and offer a solution.)

I'll be there taking notes. I hope to see you there!

Cheers,

P.S. Oh, hey, one quick favor …

Charles wants to make the training as value-packed as possible, so if you have any questions about hands-on information mastery, Evernote, or its role in making a visionary Entrepreneur a successful Entrepreneur, he’d love for you to send them to success@byrdword.com. (A way to get more info to speak to for the sales piece.) Could you do that?

P.P.S. For those of you who are a bit skeptical, I was too. I'd love to have you join us on the call so that you can see for yourself why this is Evernote like you've never seen it before.

Check it out for yourself. (A way to build credibility for the skeptics.)

If you are not interested, click here to stop getting emails about this webinar. (An out...Always give an out. It's reverse psychology.)
