Transition from Salaried to Self-Employed

For ten long years, I worked in the medical profession, feeling like I was trapped in a job that wasn't aligned with me. Each day felt like an endless cycle of monotony, and I was convinced that my dreams of marketing and writing for a living were just that—dreams. I was conditioned to believe that working a job for money was my lot in life.

Then, everything changed in a doctor's office. A routine check-up turned into a nightmare when lab results revealed I had level 3 kidney failure, teetering on the edge of needing dialysis. I was stunned, terrified, and faced with the stark reality that life was fleeting. I vowed before this experience that I would never go on dialysis. Determined to find answers, I consulted a kidney specialist and discovered that a kidney stone obstruction was the cause. A laser procedure restored my kidney function and my health.

This brush with mortality was a wake-up call. It shattered my complacency and this experience inspired me to pursue a life filled with purpose. I couldn't continue in a job that drained my spirit. Within a year, I made a bold leap, leaving my medical career behind and founding a business that embodied my newfound desire for life.

I created Emotive Pull Communications in 2014 and haven't worked a 9-5 job since. The Salaried to Self Employed CEO is recently created to empower others who, like me, feel trapped in their day jobs, to break free and pursue their inner compass and true calling. I want to help you escape the shackles of a life that isn't aligned with who you are.
